Vittoria's Corsa Control tackles wet cobbles and rough roads with the confidence of the classic Corsa. Featuring the same 320 TPI Corespun-K reinforced casing and engineered 4C graph compound technology, the Corsa Control adds a textured tread pattern to the compound.

Graphene 2.0:
Fundamentally, what is special about graphene is that it changes the performance of the rubber, enhancing the innovative properties of Vittoria tires. In version 2.0, the compound is based on the type of tire and its needs to improve the desired performance. For road tires this means that Graphene 2.0 significantly reduces rolling resistance and abrasion resistance. With this rubber compound you don't have to compromise when speed, grip, durability and wear resistance are desired.
4 compounds (4C):
4 Compounds was developed exclusively by Vittoria to create a tire without compromise. Vittoria 4C consists of a coating process that combines the 4 different rubber compounds in one tread. Both the tread consists of a base and surface layer, and the side areas consist of a base and a surface layer. This allows the Graphene rubber compound to be placed exactly where it is needed - depending on the tire type. In addition, durability and puncture protection are improved as the robust base compound resists punctures.
Cotton carcass:
As a material, cotton helps reduce the weight of the case while providing high levels of protection and grip. Vittoria is credited with pioneering cotton case tires. To increase the overall strength of the coat, they use corespun yarn, a special type of yarn composed of cotton and aramid fibers.
The quality of fabric used in a tire casing is expressed in terms of TPI (Thread-Per-Inch): the higher the TPI number, the finer the threads, the tighter the weave and the more supple the tire.
Corespun:
Vittoria's unique corespun carcass is the result of years of experience, clever R&D (Research & Development) and the most advanced manufacturing technology, confirmed by millions of kilometers of bicycle racing. The base material consists of superfine poly-cotton threads. These threads have a polyester core surrounded by cotton. This dense tissue is then coated with latex. Corespun carcasses vary in weave type and density, as well as in additives, depending on the desired application.
Corespun 320 tpi is currently the most advanced poly-cotton casing in the tire industry. It consists of new, even finer and more tear-resistant threads that do not contain Kevlar additives, so that the supple and stretchy material properties of cotton can be fully appreciated.
