The ideal spoke geometry of the KappaX not only ensures excellent lateral stiffness and directional stability, but also has a damping effect when riding over obstacles due to the discreet springy design.
The development engineers of XeNTiS have started the project with the ambitious goal of creating a worldwide novel and technically as well as optically unique wheel, which not only meets but exceeds customer needs in the mountain bike sector.
Every single carbon layer was examined for its functionality and the gradual approach to the balance between lightweight construction and longevity took place. After many iteration cycles, in which the wheel design was optimized by FE analysis and prototype testing, a product is now being offered that outshines everything which has existed before.
An extraordinary puncture safety is realized by the tubeless-ready rim flange in hookless design. The Monocoque wheel set is available as an e-bike version too and the offered sizes are 27.5 and 29 inches.
