The chain also has the largest share in the super-silky, precise, gentle and quiet shifting behavior of the Eagle™ drive. The chain links have a smooth radius, without sharp edges or notches. This significantly reduces chain noise, friction and wear on sprockets and chainrings. By using flatter tabs, the riveting and the entire construction are particularly stable. A HARD CHROME™ coating extends chain life while maintaining optimal performance.
