Zipp's 303 Firecrest Tubular wheelset for disc brakes represents groundbreaking innovations for performance-oriented cyclists. The wheels were developed to meet the demands of our sponsored athletes, racing bikes such as cyclocross, but also all other cyclists who appreciate the tried and tested qualities of tubular tires. The 303 Firecrest Tubular for disc brakes therefore features some key technologies from Zipp's high-end NSW wheelset. For example, there are the ABLC™ Sawtooth™ structures with small indentations that extend to the apex of the rim. The rim has also been revised in terms of impact resistance. These innovations enhance a wheelset that has proven world-class in two of the most demanding arenas - the Spring Classics and the Cyclocross World Cup. The durable, versatile ZR1-DB hubs, developed in Germany and perfectly fitting the rims of the 303 Firecrest Tubular, turn in the middle of the wheelset.
