Race-Ready Geometry

The URTA SLR's geometry redefines Wilier Triestina's high-end off-road riding style. A shorter triangle, paired with a 69° head tube angle, creates a compact, fast, and balanced ride. This enhances performance on steep climbs and technical descents alike.

Designed for superior traction and a progressive response, the URTA SLR also boasts an impressive stiffness-to-weight ratio, ensuring rapid accelerations and heightened responsiveness to sudden changes in direction.

Integrated Shock Absorber

The URTA SLR is designed for 190x45 rear shock absorbers with 100mm of progressive travel. For optimal kinematic performance, we've chosen the Fox Factory DPS FLOAT 190x45, whose optimized compression curves work seamlessly with the frame. This integrated link not only enhances the URTA SLR's clean aesthetic but also increases the torsional stiffness of the rear triangle.

Urta Bar Integrated Monocoque Handlebar

Like all our top-tier racing bikes, the URTA SLR features a lightweight carbon fiber monocoque handlebar. This integrated frame/handlebar system creates a single, highly efficient module, reducing the bike's total weight. The carbon fiber also provides enhanced vibration absorption, minimizing rider fatigue on demanding XCO/XCM courses.

Dual Bottle Cage Mounts

The URTA SLR comes standard with dual bottle cage mounts. This essential feature minimizes the need for water stops during races or long, intense training sessions.

Enhanced Stiffness

The frame triangle is designed with active swing arm technology, a solution that perfectly balances vertical compliance with in-plane torsional stiffness. This allows for greater shock absorption and a more rapid and efficient response to rider input in any situation. Furthermore, the higher pivot point and integrated shock absorber system further enhance rear triangle stiffness.

Monocoque Carbon Fiber Construction

The URTA SLR is crafted with HUS-MOD carbon fiber, the same material used in the Verticale SLR and Filante SLR. The URTA SLR’s exceptional stiffness and reactivity are a result of Wilier Triestina's extensive experience working alongside World Tour professionals and the Wilier-Pirelli Factory Team.

Flat Mount Brakes

The URTA SLR is equipped with standard flat mount brake calipers, the same as those used on our road racing bikes. These brakes provide the same reliable stopping power as traditional post-mount brakes while also offering improved rear chainstay flexion.

100mm Suspension Fork

The URTA SLR features the top-of-the-line FOX 34 STEP-CAST FACTORY KASHIMA fork, with 100mm of travel. This optimizes the frame to ensure maximum performance from the 100mm fork while also reducing overall bike weight. Locking and unlocking can be adjusted using the handlebar-mounted remote control.

UDH™ Dropout

The URTA SLR utilizes a Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH), optimizing performance with SRAM shifters and offering compatibility with any next-gen derailleur. The UDH also adds a critical safety feature, allowing the derailleur to rotate in the event of an impact, preventing breakage.

Integrated Wiring

All gear shifter, brake, and shock absorber wiring is routed internally within the frame. The design also supports the integration of wiring for a telescopic seatpost. This not only preserves the bike’s clean and elegant lines but also provides added protection for the components.

12-Speed Drivetrain

The wide gear range provided by the 12-speed Shimano and SRAM single-chainring drivetrains (510% range with Shimano 10-51 – SRAM 10-52 cassettes) enables riders to tackle any incline or terrain, regardless of the length or ruggedness of the course.

Standard Chainstay Protector and Chain Guide

The standard silicone chainstay protector dampens noise and absorbs impacts from the chain. It seamlessly integrates with the URTA SLR’s clean aesthetic, providing excellent protection against scratches and damage.

The chain guide comes standard and prevents chain drop on bumpy terrain, a necessity for high-performance single-chainring MTBs. Like the chainstay protector, it’s designed to integrate perfectly with the URTA SLR's overall design.
