The letters
S or L indicate the width of the saddle, and the guiding factor in choosing between them is the intertrochanteric distance (between the ischial bones of the pelvis).
Size S: narrow distance, for individuals with a value below 120mm
Size L: wide distance, for individuals with a value above 120mm
If you have already determined the width of your ischial support through a medical visit or a bike fitting, you will be able to easily find the saddle width that suits you best.
If you have not taken any measurements, we recommend contacting one of the idmatch points.
The numbers
1, 2, and 3 indicate the presence or absence of the cutout on the saddle, and the guiding factor in choosing is the rotation of the pelvis/body flexibility. For those with excellent pelvic rotation, size 3 is recommended, while for others, it is advisable to move towards size 1 in a descending order.
1: indicates a closed saddle, therefore the absence of the cutout
2: indicates the presence of a smaller hole called "Flow"
3: indicates the presence of the hole called 'Superflow' (the wider one)
Individuals with a higher level of stiffness can use size 1, but also sizes 2 and 3.
On the other hand, it is not recommended for a flexible individual to use a saddle without a cutout."
