Zipps 303 S Series Tubeless for Disc Brakes offers today’s cyclists the versatility they require and the pace they’re looking for. With reference to its great victories in the spring classics, these 303 wheels also retain their ideal rim height of 45 mm under all conditions - however, they get a significantly larger mouth width to meet the qualities and running characteristics of the Improve wheels in almost any measurable way. Road bikes are now much more versatile than ever before. The 3030 S offers a completely new rim profile and design here to further increase the performance of the drivers on this type of wheel. These wheels are made for tubeless use and disc brakes, and therefore allow the use of wide tires with low air pressure - at race speeds on and off tarred roads. The 303 S is one of our lightest wheels and optimized in terms of the best aerodynamics FPR 28-MM tires. But it can also cope with wide digging tires up to 50 mm. The 303 S uses design approaches from the higher-quality 303 Firecrest tubeless for disc brakes, making it more efficient and therefore faster. This is achieved by reducing the following factors: air resistance, rolling resistance, fatigue and weight. The innovation responsible for this is the design of the 303-S series rim. The profile is also 45 mm high as the predecessor, the 302 for disc brakes. The new rim is wider on the outside 2 mm, namely 27 mm, and the rim bed is wider with 23 mm whole 7 mm. The rim patch shape is fastest with 28-MM tires. Due to its width, the rim optimizes the tire shape and thus allows less air pressure. This helps reduce rolling resistance and makes driving more comfortable. The result of all this is a power saving of 10 WATT compared to upper-class wheels of competition at 40 km/h on level ground with 28-MM tires, such as internal tests at Zipp resulted. These groundbreaking wheels also come with brand new decors that set themselves apart from the peloton very positively - and also at an attractive price.
